ENJOY this Crunchy , Crispy and delicious COCONUT COOKIES
Baking Time : 20 mins at 180 degree celsius
INGREDIENTS :
115 GMS - SOFT BUTTER
55 GMS - POWDERED / CASTOR SUGAR
170 GMS - ALL PURPOSE FLOUR (MAIDA)
25 GMS- DESSICATED COCONUT
1 TSP - VANILLA ESSENCE
JAM FOR FILLING
BUTTER FOR GREASING
ICING SUGAR FOR DECORATION
METHOD:
1) BEAT THE BUTTER AND SUGAR VERY WELL UNTIL LIGHT , FLUFFY AND CREAMY.
2) ADD VANILLA ESSENCE AND BEAT AGAIN.
3)ADD THE FLOUR AND DESSICATED COCONUT. MIX THEM VERY WELL.
4) MAKE A DOUGH OUT OF IT. THEN MAKE SMALL FLAT AND THICK BALLS FROM THE DOUGH.
5) TAKE A BAKING TRAY .GREASE WELL WITH LITTLE MELTED BUTTER . ARRANGE THE PREPARED BALLS ON THE GREASED TRAY.
6) PRESS THE THUMB ON THE CENTRE OF EACH BALLS AND MAKE A DENT.
7) BAKE ON A MODERATE OVEN AT 180 DEGREE CELSIUS FOR 20 MIN
8) LET THE BISCUITS TO COOL DOWN.
9) PUT JAM IN THE CENTRE OF EACH COOKIES.
10) PIPE THE ICING ON THE BORDER OF EACH COOKIES
11) THE COOKIES ARE READY TO SERVE. CAN BE STORED IN AIR - TIGHT CONTAINERS ALSO.
QUICK TIP: PREHEAT THE OVEN BEFORE BAKING ANYTHING. THAT WILL MAKE COOKING EASIER , SAVES TIME.
