Happiness in living in a joint family !! #together we stand

I remember the time I got transition from my childhood home were we stay as a nuclear family to my husband family were all the members ,uncle, aunts ,cousins, grandpa all stay in a single roof.
But as my husband was in a job in another city, so I had to move with him and has to stay the way I used to ,with limited number of people.I had to handle the kitchen the way I wanted. To cook the things I wanted.
This life of being in a nuclear family was making me happy as I was used to it.With my husband's family I have interaction only on cal etc but rarely get chances to live #together because of my husband job and rarely he gets long holidays to go and stay with the family members.
And after a span of a year and half I was gifted with a baby boy.But now I find myself in a position that I have to leave my job to take care of my baby. The upbringing of a baby in a nuclear family is a very difficult task. The mother has a sleepless night and has to sleep in installments .An afternoon naps is only possible when the baby is sleeping or else never.

After few months after the birth of my baby ,My husband got transferred to the place where his native home is.Now its the time I have to again move to a home from a 2 bhk house.
A home with so many members and so many rooms,Lots of talks among family members and lot many cousins. This is the time I realized by seeing each member that there are love for each other. The upbringing of a child differs so much,a small baby learns a lot and that too very soon when we stay #together in a family. Each of the members of the family stands with a helping hand when ever required. The love and care in a joint family and the #Togetherness one has is unbeatable and incomparable. I get inspired by each of my family members with there feelings of love and affection for each other. They stand by each other and ready to do the work of each other thinking each other as a same unit of an individual. But In this busy city life ,I never had time for others due to personal constraint of balancing job and taking care of my baby. But In a family who lives #together I inspired to get a balancing mindset in any work I do.Now I don't care how I will adjust .When I have to sleep.
Now my sleeps are not in installment.I can sleep whenever I liked.I got a feeling of living #together and oneness for each other. The whole family inspired me to live a life with more love and affection for each other.I bow to them for such inspiration.

Now I #lookup to the whole family's love bond for each other. This bond of love, which I #lookup to, is very different, when we are good and capable without any problems , we feel this big family is a headache and nuclear family is better. But when we face problem then we realize how much important is this love bond in a joint family which helps each other at the time of need.

Transition from a girl to a women !! #StartANewLife

A time comes when a girl become a women when she gets married after schooling, colleges, family ,hangout with friends etc.She gets ready to #StartANewLife in a new place, with new people, with new members and for every girl including me its was a time for #StartANewLife
I was in my final years of graduation and parallel was doing a job .I was leading a life in my own way, were I was a decision taker independently .I dress up in my way.whether I eat or not,no one was having a say in it and that became my comfort zone .

I can stay away till late evening with my friends for study .I can eat fast food daily .I can sit in mud,in grass and I never care of anything.I used to watch the first day first show of every movie, late night sleep. My morning started at 11 a.m and my evening after 8 pm but all didn't last much.A day came when my result were out and my parents were insisting me to marry a guy.I started avoiding them with these talks and a tussle was always there after every day or two.
But it didn't last long and I need to take decision .We arranged to meet the guy.I liked him and his family ,they were soft hearted and the guy was simple and sober. Now this transition from a college goer to a Married women is a initiation of a #StartANewLife

I got married in the best way as in Indian wedding. All were happy including me but now the time has came to bring the change in me .It is the time for transition. Now the girl who never wore a Saree and salwar need to wear saree's and salwar. There was no one who used to take care of my food habits earlier,But now a new family who always ask me to have food and care for me and ask me not to have junk foods. The girl who used to help Mom only on weekends earlier. Now my weekends has converted to weekdays and vice versa.
Now I cannot seat wherever I like. There is my loving hubby who wants me to sit in a place where my dress don't get dirty. Were I am comfortable. This transition for me and any women is a #StartANewLife and this part of life , where I came  in a new place leaving my parents is not just only for my hubby but for a family. We even need to search for a good house in a new place and meet the new housing. I need to convert a house to a home. There are so many responsibilities for me I have to be a Good wife,a good Bhabhi,a good daughter in law,A good mother. I need to take this all with love to all and equally I get love from all.I realized when a bride comes to a family he doubles her parents ,brothers and sister. The time she start loving them she gets so much of love with all of them.

Cornooooooo Chhhhocoooooooo ....yum yum yum !!!

I am just hoping that #Guptaji will invite me for Nasta. I really love those Walnut Cornflakes choco balls. Those are soo yummy and chocolatty ,,,,...so corny ....n crispy ....yum yum yum...Once you have it, it feels like that you are in a piece of heaven.

The interesting thing is that I could steal the recipe, just want to taste it before I try it out and re-verify the recipe. To my surprise it took just 3 minutes to prepare. Making is so fast and smooth. As fast as 100m champion & racer Bolt.

Ingredients are also few and easy to get. You just need Kellogg's corn flakes, dark & milk chocolate, walnut & vanilla essence. But the only thing is I missed to get the quantity & proportion of the ingredients.
To my amaze #Guptaji 's wife didn't turn on the gas. So its completely made with microwave and no gas used. Gas is also saved when you make this delicious dish. I have to go again for nasta at #guptaji 's house to note down the actual directions. I need those, so that I don't have to die to go to #guptaji's house.

It has a high nutritional value as well. This is good for health.

I need to know HOW TO MAKE IT so that I can WRITE ABOUT IT IN MY BLOG and TASTE THOSE YUM DELICACY.

In short, I need to go to Guptaji's house for Nasta to have and know the recipe of this first Crush Wala Nasta.

My Look up Guy : My Love

One might have many role models at different stages of life. I also had different role models at different times. One thing which I realize that as I grew up and start understanding the world my role models started becoming more real. My role models have moved from my grandfather to my teacher, Gandhi to Kiran Bedi. Most of these role models are based on perceptions which we have about them which gets marketed. Many times we don't know what are the bad part of the same character.

My present role model is my husband. He has many good parts as well as bad parts. I can see both of them, though many times I miss the intention behind various decisions he take. I have been married to him from last 3-4 years. In these last 3-4 years I have seen him struggle and work hard. Hard enough that to me it looks like a routine. (Grrrr... Well at times he is very lazy to at home and doesn't help me, he asks for all the small things... But thats the problem with any typical guy.) Overall I see more Good in him than bad.
My Husband is the guy whom I #lookup to. There are various reasons for it.
Works really hard for us as a family. We got married in Nov 2011. Just after marriage he got admitted for MBA from IIMB. He had a hectic schedule at the same time, he had to handle all my complains. Well, he used MBA as a reason, but somehow convinced me.
Financial Security he Provides.  For us their is no compulsion to provide financial security, this fact I realized when my hubby was Layed Off from one of the MNC's along with his friends. (Close to 1500 people were laid off). The competition in the job interviews and the pain of sitting at home, with the feeling of not earning while paying for his education, I can just see in his eyes. Thankfully he got new job in 3 months. But yes, I realize as women we are not stressed as they are. It doesn't mean we are robots, we don't get holidays :-(. Anyways leaving that topic away.
Loss of family Member: During his studies, my father-in-law expired after going through illness for 6-7 months. He was pained at being helpless. We had ran all over from Durgapur to Vellore to Kolkata to Raniganj. But still couldn't save. I saw some change in him after that. Now he has the responsibility of making sure that family stays one.
Addition of new family Member:- After that grief period, Lord krishna blessed us with a baby boy. The boy has filled our complete family with joy. And brought some smile and happiness back.
Getting Together as a family:- There has been some issues within the family, every family has that. But arrival of the kid has changed the environment. I along with my hubby are trying to make it a more well bonded family.
Start of a Startup (unofficial):- While studying & working, in parallel he also started a startup catering to playschools. I also helped him a bit on the startup.
Completion of MBA:-  He will be convocating this March to get his MBA degree.

Now when I look back to last 3 years of our life, I #lookup to him for various reasons
  • Hard working & loving
    • He wakes up before my and sleeps after me
    • All my complains he has to handle
    • Life kept getting difficult for him during his studies. All kind of problems/work came
      • Job
      • Finance
      • loss of Family member
      • Arrival of baby
      • Family disputes
      • Starting of new startups
      • Studying in parallel
      • New home responsibilities, which he is using https://housing.com/lookup to search.
  • Honesty
    • He says what he means
    • He told me everything about his past
  • Innovativeness / thinking
    • His way of thinking & implementing new Ideas
  • Fun & humour
    • He is funny.... Grrrr..even though he pulls my legs in front of my friends
  • Family Guy
    • He gives too much importance to my mother-in-law at my expense. I hate it, but yeah but I would love my brother to do the same for my mother.
  • Inspiring/motivating
    • He keeps inspiring and motivating me for new things. E.g. even this blog he gave me 20 mins of gyaan.... He even started his MBA statistics for Return-on-Investment and doing different things

Even after all this, with many things bad as well - like his unorganised manner of keeping things at wrong places.... behaving like bag of a sand  while watching this world cup on weekends and many others.

I still love him and feel really good when he eats food prepared by me. If I ask "Khanna kaisa hain", he will reply "Thik hain" with a cheeky smile, will make my all effort to keep him feel good after all his day of ups & downs relives me.

I am optimistic that he will rise new highs...and I will make sure that he succeeds...and he gets a good food & support from me with all care & love.

Kitchen Tips

HELLO,

The tips shared by me can be useful only if you implement and experiment it. Follow these tips which can prove to be time friendly and helpful for you in long run.

              SOME  USEFUL KITCHEN TIPS

  • Soak your fruits and vegetables for atleast 30-45 mins so as to wash away the pesticides which are not visible to our naked eye.

  • Some of us wash the vegetables and fruits only at the time of cooking/eating.Unwashed vegetables and fruits if stored gets contaminated with bacteria which can cause illness. So, dont wait and wash them as soon as you bring them home.
  • It is said that if you press the lemon hard on a surface and roll it with hands you can extact more juice from it.
  • If your kitchen utensil or plastic containers has become too oily then dont worry put some hot water with little detergent for sometime and then scrub it. With less effor the utensils will appear shiny.
  • If you want that the green chillies should  stay fresh for a long time remove the upper stem and put these in a plastic container and refrigerate.
